Looks great Vonna. I like spicy and have cooked some similar. I slit the deer and rubbed a layer of cream cheese and chopped jalpeno's before bacon wrapping. I can almost eat my self sick on those. Who killed the deer, you or Paul?
dang that looks good
Thanks for making me hungry agaim
Looking good
Is Paul your husband?
Hunt, fish and eat, way to go.
Well you better keep a close eye on her at Mississippi camp I may just steal her away, catching all the fish and cooking up grub like that she is a keeper!:fish
She's a catch no doubt, Paul went way over his head on that one and that's saying sumpin cause he's like 7 foot tall!!!!!!!!:Rofl
Ifn you get to partake of some of her vittles you'll be ruined for sure!!!!!

Ya'll are killing me with all of these food posts.
Thanks for sharing your excellent grilling and cooking skills with the rest of us.
Beat's a bowl of Special K on opening morning!!! lol I read your story about your name. Good one!
Looks great Vonna! I was going to try a bacon wrapped sausage roll this past Saturday. With 2 lbs of sausage and 2 lbs of bacon, it was going to be over $30 with today's pork prices. At Fall Camp?...we'll see.
Ill test it for you Vonna. Might not be fit for them other folks. :biggrin
Lookin good! I cook em like that and they are really tasty.
Turned out great! Cook it to 140 internal temp. I get a bottled marinade up in Paris called "Keatts" that is just outstanding. It had been soaking in it for about 5 hours before I wrapped it. May have to throw another one on the grill during camp. By the way, where can I buy butcher's twine? Nobody had it in the store around me but luckily, the butcher cut some off their roll and gave it to me - wouldn't let me pay for it.
Google it. [emoji4]
Probably at an outlet mall kitchen gadget store for the twine. Since you get the marinade in Paris, what does "Keatts" mean in English?:dono
I can get the twine but its a huge spool. Remind me while y'all are down and I will spool you some up on sumpin.
John can get you that string in Paris, Mississippi lol
