I had call number 13 of 13. That's the sponsors call. In my case it was Lucky 13!!! [emoji3]
Sorry for the double post. I hit quote instead of edit.
You da man Bill. Congrats, that's a fine gun.
Congrats on a nice gun
Sweet!Congrats Bill!
Nice gun you won there.
congrats
Lucky dog.
That's a very high quality firearm!!
That's one nice gun Bill, congrats
Thx guys. I don't know much about pistols. I hope this is a decent one. I've heard they were as good as the Sigs, or Glocks. Dunno
I'll feel better going to Doe's in Greenville now. [emoji2]
I wouldn't go to Doe's even ifn I was toten a machine gun!!!!!
That is a fine weapon, you will be pleased. Congrats
i think the Kimber is probably the best or one of the best out there
I knew someone here would know what I had. Like I said, I don't know much about hand guns. Any more info about this weapon would be appreciated. Don't know if I'll like the 45 tho. Seems a bit much for shootin.
I hear you have to practice your duck and run move at Doe's. RCC and Carol heard gun fire as soon as they got out of there vehicle there last week. The security guard and a cook ran out and helped them get in the restaurant.
What folks will do for a 100.00 steak!!! [emoji3]
I looked it up, its about a 1000.00 dollar pistol
Congrats Bill, you lucky dog!!!
Nice!!!
You did good Bill.
Kimber came on the market as a piece of junk many years ago. Over the years they have turned into front line quality passing some of the top brand names in the business. If I was looking for a new to me gun, it would be a Kimber. 45ACP is a lot easier to find than 22lr ammo.
Congrats bill your on a roll We need to go to Vegas
Ill give you a c note for it [emoji1]
45 isnt a girlly round so you will have to practice to get control.
Use corbon
Bill, Ree shoots a 44mag, man up and don't worry about it!!!!! Sure is a site to see that little 4'11 1/2", 100 pound chick toten that Ruger around but she handles it well, has killed a couple of deer with it and one with her 40 cal auto.
If you have to use it for it's intended purpose that 45 is the one to have. If you can find it and using as protection some old military 45 ball ammo is as good as it gets for stoping someone in their tracks. Congratulations Bill.
Every Kimber has a minimum of 40 man hours of hand fit and finish before it leave the factory. That said, u need to run 500 rounds through it before it'd be ready for EDC. If ya not gonna do that, don't trust your life to it and step down to a Glock or other mass produced pistola.
That said, I got a nice charter arms 38 revolver that be jut right for your girl hands if the 45 is too much fer ya.
Wannabe...
Me either. But I can tell you that you can sell it to me today for $600.
If you decide to keep it, do as WB said, and run 500 rounds through it. They are built to close tolerances and WILL jam until broken in.
I've run a bunch of these through a Kimber for target practice.

NICE GUN
I'll pm you later, when I see it, some deals on bulk ammo. It maybe steel or aluminum cases, but ok for target shooting. I'll try to stay with brass cases. When you do buy some ammo and shoot, save the brass.
What about my Charter Arns 38? I'll even throw in 2 boxes or ammo to sweeten the trade. :)

Bill....PM sent
The boss says to keep the gun I won.
Guess I'll have to break it in, but might take a few years. Probably wind up staying in the case. At 35-40 bux a box, I ain't gonna spend 350.00-400.00 to break it in.
Thanks for the offers guys. If I change my (her) mind I'll let Ya know.
Explain that the only way to carry that Kimber is cocked and locked, else it's a paperweight with some boolits close by. Then show her the little safety thingy that is the only thing between that 45 and your parts. She will want it gone gone gone then. 2.5 boxes and 7 .22 shells. 3 never been fired.

Don't buy ammo buy the box, cheaper by the case or half case, bulk.
