It use to be Gamecock fans kinda expected the ol' chicken curse! now the Alumni and fans demand winning seasons ( as they should ) Many say Ward is a great recruiter so can't really say it's the players.......... Seems to me it has got to be coaching in some form or fashion, cause the entire defense stinks!
its not that the defense stinks its not consistent , they will play 1 or 2 quarters like the best defense in the SEC then they go brain dead and forget what to do !!! its like they never played the game !!!!:donoQuote:

We could debate it till the cows come home..........I always enjoy a good discussion, but me thinks the defense is ranked 106th in the nation........... I don't know off the top of my head what the offense is ranked at, but I'd bet it ain't 106th..................just sayin
Nationally in not sure. . Ranked 11th in sec only ahead of Tennessee, vandy and Florida. . I ain't disagreeing about the defense being a problem just that our offense has fOund ways to win but not this year

My way of thinking is -- the offence has to be good enough to outscore what your defense allows the other team to score. Either way I'm enjoying the hell out of Carolina football this year :biggrin

A TEAM is a TEAM, both offense and defense feed off each other. Ups and downs happen in every program. I hope they get it together, SC is always a factor and shouldn't be overlooked, don't want that to change.
