I always wondered why nobody had put these lures in the Big market stores....God knows pattens aren't cheap either,,,,Looks like some bodies gonna have alittle friendly competition until someone gets a patten on the lure itself,,,Reguardless,,, sure is One large pill to swallow being a local guy and friend being pushed around by a larger LLC company Arkie lures,,,

Wow, Arkie ain't after Donnie's business guys. Time will show you what I am talking about but willing to bet this ends up giving Donnie a boost.

Anyway, minnow teasers, or flies have been used forever. Call them Gnats or Minner Critters, or now Skillet Fillers. Just like Takeum says, kinda surprised none of the big box stores don't have them there targeting Crappie fishermen. And hey, at least it's Arkie doing it, a company that supports the site. Maybe they work something out, maybe they do something like they did with ScottV and name some after Donnie styles/colors. Maybe Arkie just gonna make ScottV and Donnie famous. You never know. Google "Clouser" or "fly minnow" and you'll see all sorts of similar jigs. Not specific to Crappie though. Donnie brought it to the Crappie, at least on Crappie.com and in MS, and they ain't been the same since!Quote:

No offense to either parties, but... Competition promotes motivation. Motivation is a good thing.
I think that anyone who's used Donnie's Knats will continue to use them. A quality product that produces fish will thrive.
