Conway Flatheads

How many of you guys chase flatheads in lake Conway?

I havnt ever done any cat fishing on Conway until recently, having a fairly difficult time finding some big live bait.

Buy some Goldfish or Rice Slicks. I wanted to get after them in the summer but got busy. I know they are there cause we caught lots on rod and reel one draw down years ago.

Where can you buy rice slicks around littlerock?

Educate me, what is a rice slick?

Not sure but Pools and Anderson fish farms at Lonoke have Goldfish.

Bates Field and Stream in Mayflower sells gold fish and green sunfish, right by Lake Conway.

the bait shop at Crystal hill has them the last of the time I'm in there

Is it best to fish around trees this time of year or look for deeper holes?

For cats I going to looking deep this time of year.
