A friend of a friend said she went into work ( at Bandit ) only to find out they had been sold an she no longer had a job
Hmmm, makes me wonder if I should stock up on my favorite colors now or hold off until we get a chance to see what the new owners bring to the table.

I guess they have already taken down the Bandit web site. The article states: "The Bandit operation in Sardis will be shut down immediately, and the business will be operated from POB’s Fishing Division in Fort Smith. All product development and marketing functions will be managed in Fort Smith".
As one who has been involved in a company that was sold this year, my heart goes out to the employees affected by this sale.
Always a shame when small town people lose there jobs in one of these deals. Bad thing is no one any where will pick those jobs up. They are just gone forever.
They will create new jobs . In El Salvador.
Arkie will have their new larger size crankbaits out next spring and with some great new colors.
and the Scott V collection
It's a shame that some folks lost their jobs through no fault of their own.
ScottyV collection is being uploaded today!
I wish some of those Bandit folks lived closer, we could really use 3 or 4 of them around here.
She said it would have been nice to get some notice on loseing her job, kinds stinks to do longtime employes that way..JMO
Yikes, all she said was , she went in to work and didnt have a job when she got there, then found out it had been sold a closed down. said she been working there for 20yrs
I still need a mechanic. Wonder if one there needs a job?
Fort Smith will get a few new jobs it sounds like.
