Fished Lake Greeson from about 8:30 to 1:00 today and kept 38 crappie up to 16.5-inches/2-pounds, 1-ounce.
Two days in a row with a falling barometer and decent fishing - coincidence?

Jerry you are making my week go by a lot slower with these post. Very nice catch can't wait lol.
That's an outstanding catch. I bet you had those folks bustin' at the seams. I think you're right about the falling baro...the front will probably put them off a little bit.
Where's the wind? We've been in a hurricane!

I belive that feller in that photo is ready for some fried crappie. Sure wish I knew where he lived.
Nice catch Jerry!!
Nice catch Jerry......
I will need to bring my GPS the next time I make it up there. You guys have been busy dropping condos I see. A friend and I are planning on dropping about 4 in a local lake here. I finally took your advice and dropped in on the site, looks good.
Had another decent trip on Greeson today.

They are getting really FAT!
YOUR KILLING ME JERRY. Very nice catch buddy.
Jeez! makes it even harder to sit here in front of this computer....
Thanks:D
We built four more bucket/bamboo condos on Greeson today and fished a couple hours. Kept 13 and Jim caught a white crappie that was 16.5-inches and weighed 2-pounds, 1-ounce. He caught more than me today too but hardly rubbed it in at all!
We had minnows out under slip-floats but we caught more on jigs than we did on minnows. They weren't thumping it real well but enough to let you know they were ready for a boat ride.
We heard there are some smallmouth bass and stripers being caught up in the river so I think we are going to check that out in the morning before we "do the boo". Should be some walleye up that way pretty soon too so maybe we'll find something worth eating while we are up there.

Wow, that's some nice crappie. It is really some great fishing weather, can't believe I'm out of vacation days. Must be poor planning. Hope y'all have another good day tomorrow.
Looking good, Jerry. Those sure are some healthy fish coming out of Greeson. DeGray and Hamilton have been producing loads of fish for y'all, but I'm glad to know that Greeson is still dear to you and Darryl's hearts. I believe that I like Greeson even more than DeGray. Keep on showin' us how y'all are doing.
