Well sick with laryngitis and at home today. Wifey says was too quiet but I got out in my shop and tooled around on some cranks. Attachment 174129Attachment 174130Attachment 174131
A lot of fun but time consuming doing them for sure.

Nice work !
Lookin good.
I think that first one should be named Circus Clown
Hopefully you will soon get out and try some of your new colors. They look good.
Looks like your starting to spend more time modifing baits or making them than fishing . :biggrin Don't let all your hobbies take over your fishing time.:twocents Hope you recover quickly and get back on the water.
What kind if airbrush are you using?
Those are nice, but the first one you posted was Killer!!
nice
You know JW there's a song about killin time. Some of the lyrics are "This Killin Time is Killin Me". Get off the pity pot and go fish. :)
I'm sure Greg will appreciate the laryngitis tho. Hehehe
Those look great......painting them is easier to me than takeing the split rings and hooks on them.....and then putting them back on.
I don't think ANY of those are going to catch a single fish..........not unless they lasso it and hold onto 'em with their hands.
I ain't 1/100000000th the fisherman you are.......but if'n it were me, I'd put treble hooks on those things. I bet they'd work better. But I'd catch just as many either way, so..............
:biggrin
Those look great JW. Send me a few of those 1st ones. I know you are a perfectionist but I would paint them with hooks on them or just shoot some red on the hook when your done. I guess with 300 days to use them you have the time. Good job!
Lmbo you guys are killing me. I use these to prefish so i don't give the fish sore mouths he he he
Now THERE is an idea.
Just PAINT a PICTURE of a hook on each one.
Heck, I bet you'd catch some even then!
By how hard they pull lol. The bait lodges in there jaw and you reel em in.
