They need to start over with the whole Program. Mangino isn't the answer either. The coach they have now is a joke.
Mangino wont be coming back to KU,,, at least in KU colors. <*)}}}><
I wouldn't be too ashamed of them. Some pretty good pro players came out of there over the years.

Nice list. That's about 5 since 2009. And that is not what is disgusting,,, that is amazing!!!!! Millions wasted on worthless coaching comes to mind. <*)}}}><
Not going to lie, kinda hoping we get beat by Central Michigan. Hopefully that would be enough to get Weis fired.
Who would want to come to KU to coach, it would years with a good coach to get a winning season. The best players go to the top football programs.
When the job was open before Tommy Tubberville and If I remember correctly Gus Malzon said they wanted the job, but we didn't give them the time of day and went with Weis. Huge mistake as it turns out.
It all starts with the head coach. You have to know talent, heart and desire . It starts with a QB that can hit his target, If bill Snider can do it at a school that was down as far as K State was we can find a coach that can do the same. By now they should be showing some signs of progress but it hasnt happened. KU is my school, My hope they find a coach with fire in his belly and a eye for real talent.
Hey, this is a big week for football... stop wasting time and lets focus on KSU whooping an SEC team and showing them how over rated they are. I will be there with my hair on fire and cooler full of cocktails... Get loud, be proud GO STATE!!!!
And if Chuck hangs around a little longer I'm cool with it.
I like having Chuck around too :-) Charlie is laughing his front butt off all the way to the bank. Isn't he still getting paid from ND?
I would say it is on the AD. He needs to recruit a younger coach from a winning school and a proven recruiter.
Any of these three could put KU in a bowl game before Chuck does. There are about a dozen more also.
Rick Trickett
Walt Bell
Tony Franklin
I don't expect them to win, but I will take ya anyway some time if you want.
I did hear today from a guy who might know if Chuck loses this one he's getting his walking papers on Sunday...
Go Cats! Gawd I am glad they fired Mangino.
Happy as heck KSU didnt fire Bill after 3yrs!
Why would they? He went 7-4 his third year. The best KU will do this year is 2-10 and that is if they can beat the Chippewa.
Charlie Weis is gone as of this morning.
I heard they are going to talk to Chatt about being the new coach.
Heard Sheahan(sp) that the KU job is a attractive job..... how? A coach doesnt even get 3yrs! They should have ingnored the cry babys and kept Mangino. But as a CAT fan.... let them keep the program in flux:cheers2.
[QUOTE=Crappie Chatt;2794510]How long was Prince at KSU? <*)}}}>
Should have never been there. Had no creds. to even get the job, he did what Gill did to KU. Only a only a legend could quickly rebuild after the Prince debacle. At least CW has brought in talent to make it easier on Bowen and whoever takes over next year.
I think Prince was able to bring in talent, he just wasn't head coaching material. I think he thought KSU's rival was Texas! LOL I don't think it's reasonable to think a coach is going to get the program turned around in 3 years, however you would hope in year 3 that there would be some significant improvements. If a program is still headed in the wrong direction after year 3, I think you have to cut your losses or you get even further behind. Charlie and Ron Prince are a lot like in my opinion. They can talk the talk, but they can't walk the walk..........or can they???? If you consider walking off with a lot of $$$$$$$ walking the walk!!!:Rofl
Go Big Red
Not even after they beat us last year....I just can't support a team whose mascot is a rodent LOL
And the offensive performance gets more embarrassing. They had more punts (14) than completed passes (13) yesterday.
