Haven't seen ANY reports about LOZ! Did the fish leave? :biggrin
I have not been seeing a whole lot of reports at all, wish they would start coming in again.
We are waiting for those big black crappie to move in!
I'm hoping to go fishing somewhere this week! PT guy told me it was OK to go so I'm READY!
caught some the week before labor day just normal dock fishin pretty lack luster to do a report can't seem to get back down there???
Hoping to get back at it the Big waves should slow down soon.
Let us know how you do, trying to decide whether to hit Mark Twain or LOZ this weekend.
Gonna hit MT Tues! We will decide where to go Thur after that!
Sounds good. Good luck.
Been really tough for me on the Big Niangua arm. Vertical Jigging in dock wells and over brush in 15' seems to work. Dock shooting been a bust, catching more bluegill and Lm. Pulling cranks also produced a big zero
I cleaned 5 11 inchers for dinner last night. And really, that was about it for that size. I threw one or two back. Caught about 6 or 8 smaller ones, but that was it. The ones I cleaned are really gorging themselves on shad. The fish are really starting to fatten up!
White bass are really starting to boil the water, yesterday it was well into the late morning that they were surfacing. Big ones too! I didn't clean any. Probably wouldn't eat them.
I had some kids out with me on Saturday afternoon. We started about 11:30 pulling Bandit 300 crankbaits and wound up 22 and a small catfish. It is only about my 3rd time pulling so I haven't noticed any particular pattern. We pulled various colors anywhere from 55-95 feet back at about 1.5 mph around the 31mm. The kids had a good time and the weather wasn't bad with the sun shinning.

Nice!
Hey BarryG: Caught limits Labor Day weekend fishing docks near the 20MM Fish were down 12-15 deep in depths between 18 an 35 FOW. Red chart 'buster with a chart nibble was jig of choice.
We were down a weekend or two before that (in the extreme heat) and did not do well, except on the docks. We were in the Glaize that weekend when we ventured out. That was the weekend of the Shootout.
Tight lines!
Glad you caught some! :cheers2
Fished last weekend...
Fishing was tough and they were very deep.
Hit docks in the channel...
Just a bunch of dinks.
Cold front didn't help either.
Will try again this weekend near the grand glaze bridge.
Thanks for the report Manny, Hopefully with the water cooling down the crappie will be moving into the docks and coves.
