Been doing good on the ville.

I took the wifey out Sunday and I got my limit of fish in less than 4 hours and she did good too but only got 6 overs and 4 unders. On her defense she didnt get on the lake until noon and she only uses 1 pole where I use 2. All in all a very good day. I even talked to clfarms1 and told him to come on over and catch some of those fish too. Monday I took the wifes cousin out and we both had ours limits in about 4 hours again. Lots of fish right around 10 inches and nothing really much to brags as far as size. I dont think the big girls are ready to play yet. Its going to be a fun fall to fish. By the way, it sure is nice not having all the pleasure boaters out there bugging you.

what part of the lake are you fishing pat? JIGS OR MINNERS?

South end and sense I had company with me I had to use minnows.

Excellent Pat! I'll be there tomorrow night, if I can get home. I'm in Texas and already had one flight cancelled for in the morning. I'm booked on an even earlier flight now. I told the group that flew me down here that I must get back so I can fish with my wife (I haven't seen her in a week!).

Good job pat and wife. The bigguns are definantly playing right now, you just have to look in the right places. Iv had my biggest fish/limits of the year the last two trips out! The fish will really start moving with this cooler weather, could scatter um for a bit. Stay on em!
