Table Rock 9/6 & 9/7
Attachment 173238Attachment 173239Saturday's rain turned 'em on. Limit of Fish in 1/2 hr off one pile. Haven't seen a bite like that on the Rock since 2006. Got smart for once. I thought if they are biting this good, it's time to go look for new spots. Kicked on the side image and found five more piles holding crappie. Small 9 - 11" fish but a lot of fun. Had to have a live minnow to get a bite. #2 split shot , #2 hook on 4lbs test right in the brush. Boated over 80 fish in a total of 5 hours of fishing & 3 hours of side scanning. Average was small for the most part but had five over 14"
Didn't take a single fish home this time. Side imaging is the best thing since sliced bread on TBL Rock.

Remarkable, absolutely remarkable. People that aren't familiar with Table Rock may not have an idea of how up and down it can be and how the stars need to line up to catch crappie like that in September when conditions are not ideal. That is an accomplishment, congrats Greg. And C&R too, you are up for sainthood.
