Been kinda busy, but since I have not seen a recent report from Henderson, here goes. Got out there this past Friday morning (three days ago) and had to really work for these. Water was not moving and my little honey hole was covered with lilly pads and one big a-- dead alligator. Oh what a smell….Hitting stumps and hydrilla near drop offs, finally picked up one here, one there with a lot of time in between bites. The good news is that of the 10 I kept, 6 were in the one pound range. Caught these about 2 foot deep, 1/32 hair jigs under a cork, the bigger body jig with a wing seemed to do better in stained water. The fish are/were still there. I'll try again Tues. That jig box has about any color you can imagine, but i use about 5 different colors regularly, with some variation of gray doing best for me lately. You won't know if you don't go…I tell myself that ALOT.BCAttachment 173167Attachment 173168Attachment 173169
