Attachment aint working but that is cool!!
Wow! It's exciting and makes the news when something like that is seen near populated areas. I have to wonder about the long term problems we may experience with these animals being introduced back into our state. Everywhere I've been that bears were common the locals did not care for them. Seems they make a bad habit out of getting into anything that holds food. Tearing up Coolers, vehicles, bee hives, garbage, and yes even chicken coops Scott. They are pretty much a danged pain in the rear. Scott, if you do catch one raiding your chickens, better not shoot it. You would probably get into less trouble if you shot somebody lol.
Call DD. It might have been a Bigfeets.
Ole Miss student trying to enroll at MSU!
I heard about that one. Pretty neat for sure
Can anyone, other than me, see the attachment? I'm still trying to figure this new phone out.
Can't see the attachment, but have seen more than enough bears in the past 5 years to last me a while... Don't like em a bit, plus they run the deers off... Crazy that they're getting that close to towns
It ain't nothing but a big coon. Will tare up anything, food or no food. In South Arkansas they will tare into the polly irrigation pipe and lay and play in the cool water. Most all of the telephone are dang near eaten into between Mellwood and the White River levy from them marking their territory.
Thanks Mo, I took a "screen shot" of the WTOK TV news story that I had on my phone and posted it like a photo. I'll try something else. Attachment 171357
If you remember, about four years ago I told you guys I saw a small black bear in the back cove at Wallace at Enid. Yawl laughed at me till the conservation agent told me that "yes, one had been spotted near that campground that is close."
A friend of mine was jogging in the Twitley Branch Campground at Okatibbee Lake a couple of years ago when a bear crossed the road 50 yards ahead of him. Needless to say, he turned around. Lol
we was hog hunting on the ms river near sat docs home and up river from Mo and dogs got after a large one. couldnot cover his track with my hand. game warden said there was a big boar stayed where we were hunting.
Had one wonder through my backyard several years ago. Conservation folks tracked it from over near the river, through the delta, then back to the river. Said it was a young male, just doing its thing. I did not see it, but I did find the tracks where it crossed the driveway. I was glad it kept on moving back to the river!!!
That is Kewl never have seen one in the wild
Seen a few and chased a few in AR in my younger days--never got one though
Use to fish the Mississippi River regularly and seen bears swimming the river all the time headed toward Mississippi so I know there here
