Used Applewood, Bad Byrons Butt Rub, brown sugar and melted butter, cattlemans bbq sauce.......used the 3....2....1 method Oh yeh....I poured a can of Mountain Dew in the water pan
Looks like some fine eating G
Dang that looks good!! WHat is the 3-2-1 method? I've seen it referenced on here several times.
Set smoker at 225....put rub on the ribs....cook uncovered for 3 hrs. at end of three hours brush down with mixture of melted butter and brown sugar....wrap tight in foil....put back in and cook for two more hours.....at the end of that 2 hrs. remove wrap and brush down with bbq sauce....put back in for another hr.
I put some Prep H butt rub on some 12 oz rib eyes and they shrunk to 4 oz filet's.:biggrin
Meal "fit for a king".......
That looks excellent, the ribs look super tender. Nice job! I ate leftover gator :)
Hey G next time wrap them in plastic wrap before you wrap in foil. It will shrink wrap hold every drop of moister. The foil protects the plastic and will not melt. That looks great. You just made my diet not so desirable.
Those look good. I smoked this ribs a few weeks ago. Smoked with Hickory. Rubbed them down with mustard and then put the dry rub on them.
Everglades Rub
Season Salt
Meat tenderizer
Brown Sugar
I did the 3-2-1 and added apple juice to the foil with them. It was my first try of ribs and only my 2nd time using my masterbuilt. The thing is awesome. I'm sold for life LOL
yummmmy........
Yall are making me fat without eating. :(
How do those things work with Briskets G? Do you still get the pink "smoke ring" observed after slicing? Just wondering.
Have not cooked a brisket on it yet.....but I am sure it will do just fine. I got that on my list tho
