Welcome from Mississippi

Welcome from Indiana, Crappies will eat anything. They will hit Bandit 300 crankbaits and you know what size those are.
The only fish I have caught out of lake so far is small crappie ( dang the bad luck right)and caught them on crappie cranks
except for 1 1lb bass that some one put in for me (nice huh) o well it is what it is. Since everything is out of kilter should I put catfish in threre this fall
Welcome Aboard from Texas/Southwest Ms

Welcome from western kentucky
Crp4570, welcome to you also, from the little state ofTEXAS
Thx. That little state took a long time to drive across coming hm on leave from ft. Hood back in the 80's. Lol
Glad you noticed, lol it is kinda big huh, I drive 175 miles to my farm and pond and don't think anything of it, just tge way it is here
I enjoyed every minute in Texas. I discovered the bass bug there and the skill of a Texas rigged worm. I also discovered that a ranch in Texas could be the size of counties east of the Mississippi River. :yikes
Crp4570:
aint it so, it could take12hrs to get across it and then your halfway to Ca. Mind boggling. Some folks own lots of realestate out there,I am doing good to have 65ac of oak and hickory woods and good deer and wild hogs to keep me interested.
Welcome from Pickwick South! :fish
Thx oldbigun. Love pickwick lake. We were there a month ago for a couple of days. We were at the dam end and yellow creek. Did run up to bear creek.
