google it....I have been getting my internal temps and times by googleing what I am cooking on masterbuilt
About to do it now G, its one that's partially cooked so I feel like I may be good to go.
I think your right Sammy
Youve got time, heck as hot as it is outside you can probably cook it on a flat rock.
just wondering on a precooked meat or pork how your temp probe will work???
If its pre-cooked...I wouldn't use the temp probe.....all you are really doing is warming it up and adding smoke to it.....probably three hrs. on 225 ought to do it........use your water pan though so you won't dry it out.
Doing just like you guys suggested, its fully cooked, I rubbed it with real honey and brown sugar, put it in smoker at 225, for 3 hours then wrap it for an hour, wife made a baste from honey, brown sugar and pineapple juice. We shall see, think I am gonna do some of those spuds on the grill also. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/07/27/zyzudy2a.jpg
Man that's gonna be good!
If you want something really good, I spice up a Turkey and put it on the rack just above the water pan with Apple Juice in it and I put a ham on the rack above the Turkey. That way the Ham juices drip down onto the Turkey and adds flavor. They are done cooking at the same time. Yum Yum.
Never smoked a Ham, but I have smoked plenty of Camels, would walk a mile for em
Just basted it 2nd time at two hours, it looks good already, just got all the stuff to do the skillet potatoes on the grill out, more pics to come, Attachment 169372
Going to be a late lunch instead of dinner, looks good.
That sure looks good Sammy
Guys ya gotta try these spuds, they are mighty fine! Attachment 169440Attachment 169441. Oh and the ham was also delicious, looks like some good sammiches for lunch this week Attachment 169442
That sho looks good Sammy. I remember one Christmas a couple years ago, I cooked a ham and a turkey on mine together. It was in the 20s outside but the Masterbuilt didn't care.
You got the recipe for the spuds posted somewhere??
Great looking meal! I may swing by one day this week for a 'mater and ham sammich.
Thanks, did not think to check the CDC cookbook in case it is in there, but I'll do the Utube thing.
I was gonna ask how the scalloped taters turned out. They sho look good.
How was it?
