Headed to Enid now, hope it won't be too bad
10-15 out of the west not borderline that's dangerous. If going today get there at daylight and when the 10 mph shows up pack up and go.
Rigged up rite not a big deal, wind was blowing at daylite
Out of the west on sardis is when you can have the really big rollers
East is worse up there. Common sense comes into play hopefully
east or west....either one can run big rollers all the way up or down the lake.......I don't mind waves or white caps.....but I hate rollers
You got that rite, at least you can hide behind the levy with a west wind, ain't much hiding from a east wind. Speck the east of Enid is rolling but I ain't going down there to see.
Too windy and too hot. Y'all be careful, under a heat advisory till 6pm
Whats winds supposed to b tomorrow?
NNW 6 to 11
I wuz right. Winds were too tough for my terrova. Caught a dozen or so but only 6 keepers and a catfish. Started out the day by motoring 5-6 miles and then figuring out my remote was in the truck. Then I deduced that my fuel gauge was right when it shows me low on fuel. the extra 10-11 mile was more than I bargained for. So I started at lespedeza and went with the wind. Picked up a few. nothing like last time. winds came up and I was fearful of drifting over my fuel window. Terrova made little [progress. Put the 2 sport brellas up but they were acting as sails. In fact one sailed away on its own. I knew right of the bat I wasn't gonna be able to turn fast enough to get it. I was right. Tough day but sure beats work.
Got to tie them things down, thought mine was gonna turn wrong side out a couple of times.
Wind was so bad an area chicken played the same egg three times!!
We didn't think it was too awfully bad today. It got iffy a few times but we was just in a 15 ft tin boat and just went with the wind!
They were rolling bad enough today to break over the bow of my boat while trolling into the wind.
