Looks like you are having fun!!!! Bet the water temp was a little cooler too, 84 water temp this morning here.
Water was 58 degrees. Keeps temperature nice and cool on the water. Upper 90s over on Bull Shoals where my boys are right now. Green carp goobers.
Looks like fun, wish I was back up there today.

That's the only way to cook trout.....cut the heads off and lose some flavor. There is a iodine gland in the head that adds to the flavor of the meat somehow when you cook them head on.Quote:

Easy to clean....just use a pair of sissors......cut the gills out snip down the belly to gut them.....that's it.
I met a guy up there that didn't use a knife or scissors. Just used his fingers.
