One day I went above the last cow and threw out a line baited with dough bait on the old Johnson Century. I went to get the cows out of the water and heard a splash. I looked back to see the rod was gone! As one cow was coming out I saw the treble hook imbedded in her udder and dragging my pole where apparently the carp went under her, became fouled, and got off. My dad was none to happy to have to remove a treble hook from one of the holsteins before we could milk her. My carp fishing enthusiasm waned a great deal after that!
