Yea, I didn't no what that was either for awhile.i got to fiddling around and discovered that its the amount of auto chart overlay that you want displayed.

What is it doing, over laying part of the bottom in color depth and making it bigger?

Autocarts live, is software that uses the 2d readings to map the contour of the bottom and display it instantly on the screen of humminbird units, to give a more detailed charted or even detail of the bottom of uncharted waters.(it also does mosaic mapping)

Not bigger genec, it is just showing the data it is mapping over the background map (UniMap, ContourXD, LakeMasetr or Navionics, it does not matter).

The erea thats circled is a little creek that runs off the rver channel a short distance to the old slue bed in ky. Lakehttp://i826.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps4yvrygby.jpg

Is there an option for how close you want the contour lines? i.e. under map options? That is cool!
So Kosmo are you saying the slider is the opacity adjustment for the overlay?
Kosmo you need to quit posting this stuff, or your going to cause me to spend money!!! LOL
-
Yea, theres a contour adjustment.i had it set to three ft. In thoughs.i believe that it starts at 1 ft. and I don't no how high that it can be set.if the slider is set to 50% you will be able to see the contour lines of the base map your overlaying data on.at 100%, you only see the live data overlay

Thanks Kosmo.....a couple of humps that look interesting....as well as some intersections.
I know that the color shading indicates the relative depth, but have you discovered any way to turn on the contour line depth markers?

No, I havent. So far the only way that I no, would be to adjust the auto chart transparency to allow the contour dept numbers to bleed through from the base map that auto charts is drawing over

Can you post a screenshot of the overlay transparency set to level that would still show the contour depth numbers thru the overlay data...??
