Took a couple old timers out on the lake last Thursday a week ago (July 10) to learn jigging for Crappie. Did not get a stringer photo but got them to hold up last 2 they caught using my phone. Said they did not know you could catch Crappie all year long. No minnows harmed on this trip either.:biggrin Used Southern Pro Walleye tubes in solid glow Chartruse on 1/4 oz jig heads.:fish

I cant find any of those walleye tubes locally. Do I need to order them or do you know a place where I can get them. The Southern Pro distributor told Bates that they were not in stock right now (what ever that means).

About !/2 of what they kept were nice fish like those. One of the guys got too hot and had to quit. I went back out and caught a good limit after cleaning their fish.Quote:
