nimrod 7/12

Went to nimrod this morning with a buddy. There was water where I parked last Friday. No wind, pretty hot. Fishing was slow for us, ended with 30 fish. But we did have 6 really nice fish over 12 ". Need some tv watch me time. May post some picts. later.

This is true, I did leave that out!!! Saw the pole holders and jumped to a conclusion. Nothing like feeling that thump!

I didnt realize people still practiced verticle jigged tho. Thot I was the only one stuck in the stone age. lmbo!!!!

I like to verticle jig fish too. But it seems here lately I only get 4 or 5 hours on Saturday, and that means trolling minnows for me. That seems to be the only way I can catch a bunch of fish in a short time. Kentucky rig, 2 loops above the sinker, 1# of crappie minnows. Good to go.
