You Got to know when to Hustle Em Baby!!!

Hit the water at 1 PM After a slow couple of hours I started to wonder what is going on, why was I not getting the bites... I thought I should have been getting. I kept seeing billions of Tiny Tiny shad fluttering at the waters surface. I did not want to give up on the bait I was having so much success on. But finally I gave in...and said what the heck lets try and match the hatch. When ever down sizing comes to mind...one of the first things I grab is Southern Pro's Lil Hustle and a 1/32 oz head. This bait is a great Lil bait when you need to down size to give em what they are feeding on in shallow timber filled lakes. I have no doubt the crappie wanted a tiny offering and I intended on appeasing them. After the switch it took me just a few hours to fill my limit and I just kept catching and releasing after I boxed the first 20. It was a great day on Lake Conway. You got to know when to Hustle em Baby!!!

Great job. Good fish. Lake Conway is way too expensive for me to fish. I normally tear something up before I ever get away from the ramp.

They hit the bait right off the bottom, on a few occasions they hit it as the jig fell...More times than not with that light of jig I would lift the rod tip and they were just there almost feeling like I was about to get snagged...but you just knew it was a fish.

Got the bait at Bates Field and Stream in Mayflower AR. You can order on Line The color number...The bait I used was a purple glitter and Chart...I most always use a a silver metal flake crappie nibble when jig fishing. The nibble helps with the fish holding the bait in their mouths a little longer and gives you more time to detect strikes.

Used to plastic worm (bass) fish with an old guy........he said "Sometimes you just have to dream that they're on there".............

Great catch those summer time Conway crappie can be a challenge looks like u got them figured out though
