Great article Jeff. Before I started doing much crappie fishing I would acasionally catch a huge crappie in the middle of nowhere while trolling for striper. Started down sizing my lures and catching more crappie. A lot of times in 60 to 70 feet of water trolling lures 20 feet deep. Especially in the hottest part of summer.
Excellent article!
great read, i have used the boards and they give you a nice spread when trolling with eight to ten rods.:ThumbsUp

Good read.
great article, need to go use the info. thanks for sharing.
I've been marking a lot of fish all through the water column but they won't hit anything I put in front of them. Water temp is 42. I didn't consider crank baits because I thought they'd be too fast. As a last resort I'm going to try them this weekend. If anybody has any suggestions for me, I would greatly appreciate it.
