Two State Catch
I went across the bridge this morning to do a little crankin' in one their fine oxbows...it was cloudy and rainy I don't seem to do as well under those conditions with the bandits or I haven't got the right colors for it one. I had battery problems yesterday and those continued today so I only made it about four hours before they died so I had to settle with 12 quality fish. I went on into Greenville and had both my trolling batteries charged and tested at O'reilly's and sure enough one was going bad so I had to replace it. Now with two hot batteries again I went back across the bridge and decided to make a little pit stop at one of our little oxbows where I found some fish yesterday and added 15 more to the cooler for a total of 27. It took most of the day but I enjoyed myself and got to chat with a fellow crappie fisherman from that area while eating lunch and he was generous enough to give me a couple of jig color tips for one of their local lakes. Good trip!

Nice mess there gasper, always nice to get a new battery in the boat you just feel better about trolling up the water instead of trying to make the bad one last.

Nice catch , hate battery trouble and it costs big time.

Wish I lived closer to one of those bridges. It's a long drive to either one but I try to make the trip as often as I can. Good catch.
