Do you save them?
They used to save themselves till now.
Have you made any changes to your settings in any way ??
I don't think they save themselves.
Bill ..are you talking about the bread crumb trails...that show where you have been..??
Or a track that you have created...??

Try updating the card again to make sure the data isn't corrupt for the trails. If not contact Lowrance for knowledge base.
That did not happen when I updated my Navionics card that I had in an Elite 7. However if you do what they called a "Hard Start" (I think that is the term they used) it takes everything back to day one and you loose all the stuff on your DF unless you saved it to as SD card prior to the reboot.
Wheres Justin when you need him?
Wilbur have you gone into the menu and verified that the settings are correct? It is showing the trails when you are fishing?
you didn't hit the hide button did ya?
Wilbur what HDS unit do you have?
HDS 10 Gen1
Bill...try it without the Navionics card in...
If the trails work correctly on your pre-installed base map...the problem is definitely with the Navionics card...(in which you would need to call Navionics instead of Lowrance)....

Wilbur give Rickies idea a try, if it doesn't do a soft reset.
Will do. Thanks

Like I said, You hid them. Only way to get rid of trails is to delete them. You would know if you deleted them because the screen displays yes/no to delete. However, at some point they can over write. I don't use trails cause I don't get far from home.
