Hello All
New guy here on the forum. Looking forward to learning a lot about crappie fishing. Remember the great times we had as kids sitting on the railroad trestle beams and fishing, we were a fearless bunch then.
I just relocated to Batesville AR from Washington state and am ready to get after some fishing. Greers Ferry lake isn't too far away so will make that my first stop. I just completed building a jon boat for myself and it'll be ready to get wet this coming week.
Any folks who might be able to give me some pointers on fishing this lake and perhaps a good place to start fishing would be appreciated.

Again thanks for the welcomes. Just an update my wife and I decided to hire a guide, Wally Marshall, (creekslick) to help shorten the learning curve and get to the fun of catching crappie sooner. He was recommended by a Mitch at Arkiejigs, (shineehineekid). So in the very near future we're going to meet up and and the wife and I will get educated. We are truly looking forward to this adventure. I've only experienced a guided trip twice now and they were not successful, but that's fishing for ya!!
