Dang, brother! Now just exactly where is that pond!!! :Rofl
WOW Would love to have a big big mess of those.
Wow, bet you will fishing the pond now.
The pond is short on "Forage" ....translation is more bait fish for the bream, crappie and bass to eat. Have any of you'll ever had to manage a pond to "increase" the bait fish population?? The pond has great potential to grow good fish!!! This bass was caught this week .... 9 lb 3 oz
Did biologist give recommendations for fertilizing the pond ?
Ask D10
Those are nice fish. Worth the price to take care of.
Nice pics
RIGHT!!! I erased 'em, don't worry! Devil Icon
To be able for me to determine what the best corse of action should be, I would need to see the data that the biologist collected for you. Fertilizing is almost always a good thing, unless you already have too many nutrients in your ponds. What counties are these ponds in? I can hook you up with a District Biologist in your area.
D10 ... Both guys knew you .... Jeryl and David ring a bell?
Dang nice fish, with fish like that I'm not sure I would do anything, but I know NOTHING about managing a farm pond, so... Again, nice fish.
Cool stuff
One heck of a fish.
bucket full of them toads would be fun!!
Nice pond!
nice redear
That's a big red ear nice bass to!
Dang nice fish. Wow that fish is thick.
Really nice fish it sounds like you're on the right track with the pond.
Wow! What a fish!
The best privately owned and managed pond that I have fished was stocked with golden shiners as bait forage. The bass were huge, and the crappie were hitting 4" yellow twister tails like they were candy.
Adding more baitfish and forage is generally a good thing for a pond if you can make it happen.
Those are some monsters
Last time I caught some dinner plate sized fish like that was on a farm pond up in Kansas......nice pics, thanks for posting
You sure look like my insurance agent! Haha Nice fish!!
Nice fish
That is a real hawg!!!!
