Save your meds for physical therapy trust me that's when you will need them.
I had an "Acromio plasty" and wound up with a frozen shoulder.
Ask about that in advance and be ready to do the follow up exercises. Don't let it freeze up on you or your gonna have to learn to live with it.
The procedure I am having is called a comprehensive reverse shoulder replacement and as far as the time it was more of my choosing.
