Surely he can get at least 1 to jump into that bowl. Now I've got to buy a bowl I guess, after I get my 8 new poles, and reels, and rod holders and crankbaits. Did I miss anything? I hope my wife isn't looking on this site.

jumping carp are not fun .... got into a wad of them on the chute of paradise lake leading back into the old Mississippi River last year and had to turn the big motor off to keep them from tearing everything up that i owned ... had 20+ fish jump in the boat. at 10-15 lbs that is not fun in any shape form or fashion. had to troll out for 3/4 mile to keep them from taking the boat over
They are bad at the old river just at the mouth of the Paradise canal. A couple of years ago they put a large dent in my 17 ft aluminum ProCraft about a foot from where I had 10 16-ft pro trollers bundled up. It would have crushed every one of them. I've seen several hundred of them jump at the exact same time....they are unreal.

Had a friend get a broke rib in my boat at the harbor few years back
They are edible and tasty. One of my buddies took one home after it landed in his boat. He steamed the meat, chopped it up and pattied it like salmon croquets and fried it up. Said it was delicious.
