G and I are pulling cranks this morning and tearing the dinks up. I think we've got 11 keepers so far.

David don't mess up my seat catching dinks!
That last one ain't no dink!!!!
Save some for me!
"G" has backup while he takes off for a while!
I took two of my sons over yesterday. We just wore the dinks out. We kept 20 decent fish including a couple of foul-hooked dinks. We caught two nice ones. The middle picture is of my adopted son from Ukraine. This was his first crappie ever. He was very afraid to ride in the boat and asked me not to go fast. I assured him we would only go 1.8 MPH! Yep, he's hooked now.

We wore the dinks out also. We kept 38 for G to take home after our Piggly Wiggly lunch. I had a great time with a great friend.

Scott, some of those Okatibbee fish have a rather inflated opinion of themselves. We caught 5-6 that were smaller than the bait! The rod tip would just barely move.
Lookin good.....
Pretty day on a great lake with a good friend.....cant beat it. Thanks Scott
Nice catch geezers.
Great pics. Looks like fun was had by all.
The highlight of the day was lunch at the Pig....we had beef tips and rice and vegetables and Jalapeno cornbread............Thanks for the lunch Scott
Where might I find this fine eating establishment?
Heck I thought it was a real local cafe.:biggrin
Scott, it looks like you're getting out much earlier than me. I've been over there twice and put in at 9 both times. I'm coming over from Canton (2 hour trip).
I'm sure there's less "ski and flea" early. Are the fish more active?
BTW, I met one of your buds (Bobby?) at the ramp Saturday. He gave me a few of your jigs. Good looking baits!
WAY TO GO GUYS LOOKS LIKE Y'ALL HAD FUN , AND ATE GOOD TOO . WHAT MORE COULD A COUPLE GEEZERS ASK FOR . :biggrin
Great job guys!
We had a mature bald eagle fly across in front of us carrying a fish. It was right in front of us before we saw it so no time for a picture. That was neat.
Bet that was cool, its wonder Gs ugly mug didn't scare that eagle to death!!!
Aint that the truth lol
We have been seeing more eagles at different lakes, lots of osprey too but they have been plentiful. Ms Tammy has gotten where she carries her camera whenever she goes and has it close by hoping to get a shot at one.
They have several Eagles hanging out at Trace lake now
