I like a good New York strip - medium rare please! :biggrin
gonna be good
gonna be good
Love those strips if cooked right. Look like you're doing it right.
Looking good.....tan em a little then they will be redi.
If you have ever had a tbone you have eaten a strip.
Those look FINE!!!!
They were really good, cooked em on a hot hot fire fast for about 5 minutes on each side, gotta say they were good. And yes Vonna that's how they came off the grill med to med rare. Nice cut of meat for what I paid, bout three forths of an inch thick and trimmed just right, may have to watch for them again.
Yep, those NY Strips have a lot of flavor. Just a bit tougher than a ribeye, but great cooked rare-medium rare.
I wouldn't turn em down---heck one of the very best pieces of meat ive ever had was skirt steak of all things. Those ny strips can be dandy
Hot tubbin does wonders for me on any steak! Them looking good for sure.
I like mine where a good vet could still save it.:cheers2
That's what I buy if the ribeyes aren't on sale. Cooked rare to medium rare they're nearly as good.
They look more like MS Strips to me and I bet they were fine.
Ain;t a dang thing wrong with a strip
I got a care package from Folk's Folly for Mother's Day, a 16 oz Prime NY strip. I've never had Prime beef before so I was excited. Best. Steak. Ever.

My favorite was a club or rib steak and was.the cheapest. Now they are bone-in rib eyes and lots higher.
