Nice! Getting to be that time of year. Have you seen much surfacing action yet? YOY shad hatch hasn't came yet but when it does it will be on!
Nothing on top yet, but they were biting good. Gonna be fun I think.
Depending on rain I might give it a shot tommarow. I will post up if I get anything
Brad, I caught some wipers at Clinton last week, they sure are fun on a 10 foot crappie rod. Are you doing any good on the crappies.
Probably not any crappie left in Milford after the slaughter at Crappie Camp :biggrin
Haven't made it to the crappies this week. These wipers and white bass biting me as I troll to the crappie holes, so I'm not leaving them. Been eating them, I like them. Took neighbor fishing today. Thought it was going to be bad weather, but turned out beautiful. Nightcrawlers. Fish fry tonight in the neighborhood. Brad

I plan to hit it in the morning for Walleyes I will let you know how it goes. I hope the new job give you time to fish. Have Lund will travel. I need to get you up to Glen Elder some weekend.
Killing the white bass and wipers this morning no crappie or Walleyes yet
I got off the lake about an hour prior to the rain. No Crappies but I caught about a dozen white bass three wipers and a 22 inch walleye. Everything got returned to fight another day.
Tom
Awesome sir! You're right of course about the new job...hard to fish and watch blackberry at same time, as you know!
For me today....My doorbell rang this morning and the neighbor girl who has always asked to go fishing...well her family's moving with the Army next week so she said that this was her last chance. Couldn't resist, we hit Rush Creek. She caught her first fish! No crappies, even though I tried for them with minnows. We're cooking the wipers from past couple of days for the neighbors tonight! sc good pics don't know what happened to the cooked fish but feelayed 10 loz crappies sun everybody thought I was a chef thanks for sharing the recipe
Was out there this weekend...fishing was slow...caught some nice walleyes with one being 25 inches at 5.2 lbs for our big fish and I believe the smallest we caught was just right at 19. Managed to catch 1 crappie in 15 FOW while bottom bouncing for walleye. Tons of blues, channels, wipers, and white bass.
Any big blues?
The bigg blues are being caught up around the mouth of the river where it dumps in. Cut baits being the bait of choice. Shad are being caught in cast nets under the causeway bridge.
