Nice fish Don. Crickets or Flys?

That is a nice mess, good eating too.

Mainly crickets thanks to the 15 mph winds. Caught a few on the flyrod. Put 3 BB shot leads bout a foot above the hook and just tossed it out on an ultra light and reeled it in slow. You can cover slot of water that way. Know they have been bedding cause one male was spewing milk when I squeezed him. Just never found them stacked up. Bet we caught 50 or so 1/4-1/2 pound bass just under eatin size. I'll keep a piund bass for frying all day kind but these were just to small. Think we kept 2-3 bass the whole day

Went to Calling Panther yesterday with a box of crickets and box of red worms. Caught 3 - 2" to 3" gills in 5 hrs. Wish I could find a few....

Those are nice ones. Me and buddy of mine went this morning to Pickwick. Fished 3 1/2 hours and brought home 153 shell crackers and blue gills. Had a ball. We were in 7 ft water fishing with crickets about 4 ft deep

I have a 5 1/2 foot, Lews speed stick ultra light and you can touch the tip to the butt. Talk about pulling. LOL
