Daughter lived in Columbus for a year or three. I always wondered how to fish that big waterway.

Donnie and I found spawning fish on the river Wednesday....they are still spawning but I think they are getting close to finishing. I love those single pole fishing trips on the river.
I don't know exactly the pattern you guys were on but we would slowly fish out from the bank in about 2 and half to 3 fow, you would catch a big female and you can bet that where you caught that female up behind her on the bank there would be 2 or 3 big males, and they bit midday also, heck we didn't start until noon.

abouth the same sammy but the males we found were tuck tight under logs the big females would bite first though then you could catch a couple of males we should have had 50 or more but I let so many fish get off at the top of the water I think they were just trying to knock it out of the way myself jmo only had 2 foot of line out can't wait to go againQuote:
