Thanks to Matt (D10) for organizing this effort. Guys if you want to help there's plenty to do on the lake and off. The picture of the bags in my boat was from probably forty feet of shoreline. Thanks to all who helped today.
Good work man. Wished I could have helped, but had to work in TN this weekend

Sorry I couldn't be there. Hat's off to those who organized this and those who showed up to help! :HandsClapping:HandsClapping:HandsClapping

Thank you very much! The clean up of Lake Conway is as important to me as it is to y'all. There is still much work to be done (as y'all saw today).
Only tried to grab one snake today reaching into that debris field. :yikes
Kind of surprising with so much stuff for them to hide in. Massive amount still left to be cleaned up.
Being the newbie and not known by anyone I was the guy in the Blue Crappie dot com shirt with white shoulder stripes.

We were able to remove 90 drum liner trash bags and one 16' trailer load full of debris. Thank you very much for caring enough to help clean this great lake of ours. It means more to us than you know it. Thanks again.
Matt
This is a great story. Thanks to all who were there.

when i saw the mess at first i was thinking we will never get this stuff cleaned up but after we were through you could definitely see that our efforts made a difference. , nice job guys !!!
Thanks D-10,Midsouth man,Crappie Pro,Crappie Greg and all will be back!! Will not be forgotten!!! Double WOW how anyone made it through!! Completely leveled houses!!! "WOW" metal 30'ft in the trees !! Brenda and I have been through total losses we know first had what it means to lose everything!!! Thanks again!!
Lets do it again sometime soon. I was netting some great keepers and some too big for the net. It was great debris fishing. I am going to bring waders tho next time to get way back in-between the cypress trees for the big trophys. Sometime trying to net multiple Styrofoam chunks was a challenge in the wind.
If nothing else we will be quick with the net when Spider rigging.
Great job folks. Maybe I can help out next time. DP
