T'was a good day!
It was a good day today on the ville for my boat! Had a four man 60 fish limit in just about 3.5 hours of fishing time. Had a 15+ inch female full of eggs that might be the heaviest crappie iv ever caught on shelbyville. We also lost one that we couldnt get in the boat and hit it off the side of the boat a few times that was just a tad smaller. Was an awesome day for sure with some great clients who kept it real fun! The fish have REALLY good quality this year on the ville which is making things extra nice. Today, for the first time this year we used nothing but minners on slip corks and I tightlined one. We fished 6-11fow and usually about 12-24" off the bottom. The fish are extra aggressive right now and todays the first time I also saw some females mixed in with the males. Cleaned maybe 15 females of the 60 fish. Heres a few pictures of the fun day!

I think the lightning makes them "Strike" harder. I had to hide under a bridge for a while. Unlike you birdie, I used jigs exclusively today. They seem to like the taste of the plastic--Ha.. Good mess of fish and it looked like wet, happy clients.

Nice quality looking fish

I got some of my nicest limits fast when lightning and thunder started.

Nice fish. I love the tight lining.

Good job Birdie, 63 and I kept right on fishing through the storms, hoping they would light it up, but they never really turned on. We scrounged 18 overs all totaled, so we were close.

Awsome job birdie, you need to take BarrelSlime out so he quits whining.
