Is there a way to activate the Spotlock feature with the foot pedal? I can't seem to find anything on it. It would be nice if you could. I've been known to leave the remote in the truck and not notice until I was at the other end of the lake.

Not unless it is a new feature on the newer models. My Terrova/IP combo is 2 or 3 yrs old, and the remote is the only way to use it. I leave my remote in the boat, but I keep my boat in an enclosed shed, so.. If you have a bag of gear you take on every trip, then put the remote in that gear bag.
welcome to the world of forgetfulnest,i am a full member:Rofl
I use an old padded laptop bag to carry fishfinders, remotes, boat keys among other things. I always run the motor before leaving home and have to have keys to do so. This helps me remember. If I run the night before I leave the bag in my truck. I usually put finders on before leaving the house and put the bag and other stuff in compartment.
I also just leave mine in the boat, have the Link now and remote needs to charge so I hook it up when I am done and leave it hanging in a dry box. As far as activating the spotlock from the footpetal I don't think that is an option unless Cane Pole can come up with sumpin. Not even sure how to hook the footpedal up, never hook it up on the old Ipilot and haven't with the new link.
In my neighborhood, I would bring the boat into the house if I could. Nothing gets left out side.
Wow, sorry to hear that, would hate to have to remove everything from my boat everytime I came in. Good luck.
I can't leave anything on my boat. Boats on a lift in the water is easy pickins for scum baggers. Useta not be that way, but we now live in a banana republic.
Can't with mine I leave in boat as well.
thats why I have insurance just hope if they take stuff its enough to make a claim worth it
Leave all mine in the boat but I park truck outside. The boat stays in the garage and on the charger. I live in a pretty neighborhood but I have trust issues from when I wasn't as fortunate
