When eggs look like this, what does this mean?

Anybody got a clue? Came out of a fish caught today.

Not good probably fish got stressed doesn't look like any eggs.

Eggs may have just gone bad inside the fish?

Some of the females won't lay their eggs every year. When this happens they absorb the eggs back into their system. So I've been told.
I've caught them in June and July with tiny egg sacks that they haven't absorbed completely.
Maybe what you have there is the beginning stage of that?

Tcounty- that is what I was afraid of. Looks like this year there will NOT be a spawn on Nader. If they did not do it a month ago, then it ain't happening.
Attention Crappie Masters, crappie USA and all other tournament trails, GRENADA IS DEAD. Or at least dying. All those records that were set are gonna be safe for a few years. Go to the other big 4 and let Grenada recover for a couple years.
We have a few big fish left, but nothing in the spawn class behind them.
We usually catch a bunch if small fish at the end of the spawn, and we are not catching them either.

Not true chilly. There is always a percentage of fish every year that don't spawn. It does not necessarily mean that the entire spawn is a bust

I agree that they all do not spawn, or even spawn at the same time. I think there are 2 or 3 sets of spawners. Some early, most during prime time, and smaller ones last.
What I am saying is the prime time and late spawners never showed up this year. Or at least not yet.
