Reelfoot 4/23
I had a couple of hours before dark so I decided to do a little scouting. Hit Kirby pocket at 5:30 and went to the trees. As seems to be the case this spring the crappie just were not cooperating but I kept getting tap taps from the bluegill so after an hour of no fish I switched over to a 1/64 feather jig in chartreuse jig and it was game on! for the next 1.5 hours it was one fish after another.
May is almost upon us and I am going to have fun in the trees whether the crappie want to or not!
Ended the day with 15 or so of these beauties.
