Fished with jigs best color seemed to be white and chartse. and orange and chartse. Some fish were shallow and some were in deeper 10-12 fow. Most of the fish were scattered except for a couple of hot spots (our dog even had to get her paws on the action) Going back for camp on Friday - seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

DKO, We made a starling discovery that our dog's license had expired, so we had to take her rod away.
as long as the dog is under 16, don't need a license

Hey Richard, it was nice meeting you and your wife out on the lake Saturday. Sharon and I enjoyed the visit. We looked for you Saturday night at the fish fry but couldn't find you. We ended up with 10 really nice crappie.

Kent, You know Pat, she just doesn't like getting her picture made. You are right - she looks a lot better with the fish than I do. MacDaddy, it was nice visiting with you and your wife as well - we had a lot of things going on at our church this weekend - so we had to get back early. RCC, that dog sure loves to go fishing. Sorry we had to leave early - we wanted to meet you and your wife - as we used to live in Jonesboro for several years - maybe next time.

Great post...The facilities, fishing, stores, and hotels nearby on Dardanelle is a world class setup. It has been a Great location for Crappie Camp the last two years. I am sure we will be coming back there in the future.
