Good Day On Twain 4-22

Attachment 159929Found fish holding tight to the bottom in 10 to 12 fow. Very light bite, they would just suck it in and sit still, but got a limit of 10" to 13" fish by noon. Blk/Chart slabbuster w/ a nibble. Water Temps of 53 to some 60 in the very backs of coves. Water is still a little muddy, could see your jig down to about 6 inches. Lot of big males. The fish in my left hand was a male. The females had some eggs that were starting to loosen up. Even the shorts we caught were meaty. Looks like it might be a good year. Won't be able to make camp this year (work). Hope everyone has a good time. Good Luck N2

Good work N2....... If we can somehow dodge the majority of this big storm coming across, I'm going to be on the water tomorrow morning. Probably head over tonight to try to pick a few mushrooms as well.

Nice little soaking rain, knock on wood we missed a major downpour..... Fished yesterday evening from 5:30-7:30 in the rain and consistently caught fish.

A fishing I will go this morning in about an hour!
