Yep, they don't ever seem to be rite.
It's NOT 7-9, it's 7+9 or 16 MPH lol
Yea hate it when they say low wind and it's looking great until about ten am then boom!
they are hardly ever right I always add 5 to whatever they say
I always double what they say
WREG formula. X plus X times 2 = reservoir wind speed.

It sux blue, I think I have fished 2 days since FJ at Washington that the wind didnt blow, one of them was the Friday we all fished Grenada before camp
We fought it too. Never laid down till dark. Today was much better slick water till 130 at Sardis.
I think they lick their finger and stick it out the station window for the wind forecast!
The wind sure makes it tough, it's worse when you've been told it's not supposed to be bad and plan accordingly.
