If I'm not allowed to do this please tell me but I have to try. Go to youtube and search "shellcracker fishing for monster slabs". I am telling you these are the biggest bluegills I've ever seen! Now I know they aren't really bluegills, they're shellcrackers, but they sure do look like giant mutant bluegills to me!!! The one is bigger than his bucket!! I don't thing I could eat more than 2 of these, I'd probably try to eat 3, but I'll bet 2 would fill me up!!!

Man, I love it. My uncle Bill and I got into a bed of redears about 30 years ago and we probably caught 100 big redears, no bluegills, goggle eyes, yellow brim, or cats.........just big redears. I'll always remember that day and he did too, up until the day he died. I believe it was maybe his best trip ever. It was one of mine for sure! Gotta love catching redears! No cork tight lining "down and dirty" style. GTT
