Ain't seen a gator. Had a 5' water moccasin swim by with a gut the size of a coke can. Also biggest beaver I've ever seen come by too. Sardis.
on the Tenn Tom Kelllog's slew and Tibbey creek full of them
Haven't seen em in the lake at Nader but below the dam and in a creek in the upper backwaters of the lake
i know a man that works for the COE at sardis saw one hooked (bout 3 ft. long) just west of lower lake at sardis. fellow hooked him fishing from bank and wanted help turning him loose.
There was an article in the paper years ago and a picture in the paper of one that was caught in a net at butla.
Yep, its was last year, they actually removed 2 from below the dam. We caught one here in Coffeeville a few years ago.

Years ago in the Oxford Eagle there was a photo of a huge gator pulled out of Sardis, the upper lake if I remember correctly.
Seen one in the coldwater river down stream of arkabutla last year.
Channel 5 in Memphis had some they video'd at Shelby Forrest in the swamp area. They were 3-5' long. Rangers said fatties had been there for a while.
Next thing you know there will be Bull Sharks in these rivers. They in the Sippi River!:dono
