Beats working!
Are you going to be Fishing or catching ? Any day is a good day to fish .
If I could go I would.:cheers2
lol... Where would you guys start, giving the cold weather?
Put the boat into the water, get away from the land and anywhere you can put a hook in is a good place! :biggrin
Let the surface temp tell you. More than likely they have pulled off the bank but sun lite may pull them back in the afternoon. If you are near Warsaw the temp would have less effect due to a combination of current and the depth you would be finding fish. Good luck.
Fish out from a spawning bank spider rigging or two pole trolling. Double rig minnows in 10 ft of water an more fishing 8 ft deep. They will eat.
Right on... Appreciate the advice! Probably going to put in at wigwam and start with crappie and see how it goes. If I can't figure them out I can roll into snagging. I'll post a report tomorrow evening.
I think you talked me into going too.
Vertically fishing over brush piles found in coves in 12-15' was good to us on Friday on the Glaize arm. I would think this cold snap would have pushed the fish off the banks and back on to those same type of areas.
Hey Griz I still been on em good over by my place on the 7mm. Pm me I will set you up if you dont go to wigwam:fish
Good luck!
Saturday down around the 8mm the water temp was 55°. Back in coves, Southbuck and Easter Hollow was around 57°. Haven't figured out how to catch them yet when not on the dock. At what temp will they start moving in and spawn?
