Got on the water at 7am fished until 10:30 the bite was good I just don't like losing fish think I might have to get some sickle hooks heard they work good. The only thing they wanted was junebug or anything purple with chartuse tail.

Nice mess E! Breaking in the boat again :)
are you setting the hook a little when long lining i normally only lose one or two but when i pick the rod up i give it a little jerk
Hey man what is going on the boat is doing grrreat love the new i-pilot. I am kind of upset was putting the cover on the boat today because of the rain was looking around and found some carpet coming up off of the floor thats really sad. Have to find some kind of glue or something to glue it back down with.
Will give that a try was reading and listening to people and really never thought about that, did not want to pull it out of there lips forgive me this is totally different from spider rigging. When i go later this week [I] will remember that thanks for the info
Yep, I usually give it a small hook set, and keep it tight while I reel the fish in. I hardly ever lose fish while long-lining...and I ain't that good of a fisherman. :)
those will be tasty
Thanks lite wire really appreciate it
i used contact cement - kind you can get at home depot.........3 yrs ago, have had
no problems and have used pressure washer to clean it couple times - vs hand scrubbing
Nothing but good.
