Um, someone was in the pads or ditches! Those aren't tree fish! Awesome catch and happy birthday. Be down in a week or so to jig fish, may get lucky with the timing this year

I've got 4 1/2 hrs of footage that says otherwise bud!! Although specks live in the pads, they spawn on wood, I don't fish pads, I lack the patience, and only use the ditches for cleaning out the 2-stroke!! but when they move to the trees to get ready I'm there! Your timing is right on, I hope the weather is good for you, I'm gonna be there the next four weekends.

Good deal, I don't ever catch them slough crappie in the trees....but sure love fishin them. Some of my biggest females have come out of the pads...(back behind eagles nest timber) and in the ditches, but the trees are where I like to be

All I can say is you're a bad man josh. I only took my jig pole today and tried a variety of water, and I barely even got a lick. Well done sir.

I only wound up with six and I tried everything. I spider rigged the lower blue,I pulled jigs on the upper blue and fished a minner and bobber around the trees around burnt woods and grassy. The six I caught came from spider rigging the lower blue. Moultrie field
