I would bet they are crappie!! Nice shot.
Whatever they were, they were not really active. I caught four in a slough not far from this, and they were not all that active either. Lots of small strikes but almost like they were just pecking at the bait.
Nice shot.
Looks like white perch to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :twocents
Looks like white perch to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :twocents sorry double post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Probably, they are getting ready to spawn too. Caught some last week that were schooled up near a sunken tree, but they were jumping all over anything I dropped in the water
Crappies
Cewlbeanz...that pic is a testament to crappie relating to 1 side of the structure...
:ThumbsUp

I'd have to go back there
They are on the downstream side of the tree top. I was about 300 yards from the dam on the upper side. Hills drop straight into the water straight down. Caught two decent largemouths on a jig around there since the crappie or whatever they were seemed tight lipped. An underwater camera woulda been nice right there.
